Emergency

Emergency locksmith service

Lockouts and lost-key emergencies handled the same day in most cases. After-hours service is dispatched based on availability — call to confirm.

An "emergency" locksmith call usually means one of three things: you can't get into something you need to get into, you can't lock something you need to lock, or your key situation has been compromised and you need it fixed before you'll feel comfortable going to bed. We handle all three.

What counts as an emergency

  • Lockouts — car, house, business, storage unit. All lockout services.
  • Lost-key situations where the missing key could end up in the wrong hands.
  • Break-in aftermath — door damaged, lock destroyed, perimeter no longer secure.
  • Broken-off keys stuck in the cylinder. Broken key extraction.
  • Failed locks that won't latch or won't open.
  • Failed safes with people unable to access cash or documents needed before close of business.

What's usually not an emergency (but we still do it)

  • Move-in rekey scheduled for the weekend.
  • Spare car key cut for peace of mind.
  • New deadbolt install for a project.
  • Routine commercial rekey after staff change.

These get scheduled at a normal time. They aren't urgent and you shouldn't pay emergency pricing for them.

What we'll ask when you call

  • What's locked or broken.
  • Where you are.
  • Whether you have ID and proof of ownership.
  • Whether anyone's safety is at risk.
  • For vehicles: year, make, and model.

If a child or pet is in the vehicle and it's hot, call 911 first — they can break a window legally and quickly. Then call us if you still want help.

After-hours expectations

After-hours service is real, but it's also dispatched based on what's already on the schedule. Be honest about how urgent it is and we'll be honest about how soon we can be there. We don't quote a 15-minute ETA we can't hit.

Pricing transparency

Emergency pricing is higher than scheduled work — that's true everywhere. The rule we hold ourselves to: you'll hear the number before we drive out. We don't quote $19 to get you to commit and then "discover" the real price when we arrive.

Common questions

FAQs

Are you available 24 hours?

Emergency calls are dispatched after hours based on availability. We do not staff a permanent overnight crew but we do take after-hours calls and respond when we can.

How fast can you get to me?

Inside Richmond Hill, generally a reasonable response window during business hours. After hours and to outlying parts of Bryan County, longer. We give an honest ETA on the call.

Will you charge more for an emergency call?

After-hours and emergency pricing is higher than scheduled work. You will hear the number before we drive out — no surprises on arrival.

My car was broken into. Can you help?

Yes — we can replace the lock, rekey the cylinder, or cut a new key as needed. If the door or window is damaged, you may also need an auto glass shop.
